The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Housing Authority is currently seeking one highly motivated individual with exceptional computer and customer service skills for the position of Intake/Data Entry Clerk for the new Homeless Shelter. This position is for Shift Work (evenings, weekends and holidays).
Intake/Data Entry Clerk
Description: Responsible for intake of new clients and inputting of pertinent data in accordance with MCC Homelessness grant and LLHA Homeless shelter reporting requirements. Also responsible for ensuring health, safety and security of the shelter and its tenants and tenant’s compliance with all house rules and regulations.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of the LLHA and LLBO programs and services is required. First Aid and CPR certified or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Experience in MS Office computer software systems is a must.
Wage: $12.00/hour

The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Housing Authority is currently seeking three (1 FT & 2 PT) highly motivated individuals for Shelter Aides for the new Homeless Shelter. These positions are for Shift Work (evenings, weekends, graveyard shifts and holidays), some of which will be 12-hour shifts. Shelter Aides will also need to be available on an on-call basis.
Shelter Aides
Description: Responsible for ensuring health, safety and security of the shelter and its tenants and tenant’s compliance with all house rules and regulations. Provides shelter security for all staff and tenants, advocates for clients and refers them to other needed services available on and near the LL Reservation, including but not limited to; Health, Human and Social Services, of all types. Also assists in scheduling, monitoring and enforcing chore list for all tenants. Shift work to include, evenings, weekends, holidays and 12 hour shifts, is required.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. First Aid and CPR certified or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of the LLHA and LLBO programs and services is required. Experience in MS Office computer software systems is preferred.
A valid, Minnesota Driver’s License is preferred.
Wage: $10.00/hour
