TREATMENT SERVICES COORDINATOR ~ HUMAN SERVICES ~ DOQ ~ JOB CODE:  10-037 Closes: March 19, 2010
The Treatment Services Coordinator is responsible for leading the treatment foster care team to support those foster children in need of treatment services.  The Treatment Services Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating services and assist with implementing, monitoring, facilitating interdisciplinary approaches and evaluation of plan progress. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW), Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health field. Performs duties in a clinical setting related to the certification of clients for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) including assessment, counseling, referral, breastfeeding promotion/support and nutrition education. This position is responsible for the transportation of Leech Lake A&D Program clients and receives supervision of transportation scheduling from the Program. Responsible for review of grants and contracts compliance: reports, documents and sets up files for new or existing Federal, State, County and Foundation grant obtained by the Health Division. Follows up with; grant/contract budget recommendations directed by HD Budget Team. Works closely with; program directors with regard to submissions of narrative progress reports to funding agencies. RULE 25 ASSESSOR ~ HUMAN SERVICES ~ DOQ ~ JOB CODE:  10-032 Closes: March 19, 2010
Responsible for providing chemical dependency assessments, conducts prescreening commitments, as well as other interventions designed to access treatment of chemically dependent persons. QUALIFICATIONS: BA or AA Degree in Social Work or related field and two (2) years training in chemical dependency counseling. An equivalent combination of education and practical experience would be considered. Training in Minnesota Rule 25 assessment with a minimum of two (2) year supervised assessments experience. UMICAD Level I certified and if not, must obtain within 90 days, including experience/training of interviewing clients per counseling techniques. CADC I, II, III OR LADC; Rule 25 Assessor Certification. Knowledge of processes and approaches to treatment and prevention of chemical dependencies. A Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor provide professional therapeutic intervention services for individuals that are misusing and/or addicted to alcohol and/or drugs. The Child Protection Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to children and families who are involved in the child protection system. The goal is to work directly with children & parents to reunify the family and achieve the safety, well-being and permanency of children in a stable home environment.  QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Social Work (BSW) or other Human Services related field.
