Our Mission

To prevent homelessness by increasing housing stability and self-sufficiency. We will strive to better the life of our Tribal Members through economic betterment, lifestyle changes, education and community development.

Definition of HOMELESSNESS

Homeless is any individual, unaccompanied youth or family that is without a permanent place to live that is fit for human habitation. "Doubling-up" is considered homeless if that arrangement has persisted less than one year.

An individual, inaccompanied youth or family is "long-term homeless" if they are without a home for a year or more or have had at least four (4) episodes of homelessness in the past three (3) years.

*ANY PERIOD of institutionalization or incarceration (including transitional housing, prison/county jail, treatment, hospitals or foster care shall be "excluded" when determining the length of time the household has been homeless.

Services provided:

  • Provide $300.00 towards 1st month rent
  • Guidance
  • Assist with deposits
  • Help with job search
  • Housing Search
  • Independent living skills
  • Basic needs
  • Follow-up with clients
