In the event of an emergency call 911!

Leech Lake Spay & Neuter Clinic was held on March 23rd & 24th at Pike Bay Town Hall. Thank you to each and every one of you for your incredible efforts this weekend at the Clinic. The final numbers are as follows:
91 spays/neuters
75 vaccinations/microchips only
49 animals surrendered and transported
1 eye surgery
- One of the cats that we brought down on Sunday from the Bemidji Impound (Peaches) had two kittens right before she was transported. Momma and kittens (Piddles and Pebbles) were brought into Animal Humane Society (AHS) on Sunday. Unfortunately, Piddles did not survive, but Peaches and Pebbles are doing well
- On Friday, AHS sent a van to meet Nancy O'Sullivan in Motley to transport some of the surrendered animals including eight puppies (from three litters). All of the puppies were adopted before the end of the weekend
- There were 11 semi-feral cats surrendered by one of the Residents. After spending the weekend with Jodi and being loved and cared for, 10 of them were brought into AHS. Many of them are up for adoption and some of them have already been adopted.
