Chiropractor

Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your nervous system controls the function of virtually every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body.

The bones of the spine can lose their normal motion or position and can irritate the nervous system. This disrupts the function of the tissues or organs these nerves control, and this is called vertebral subluxation complex.

Chiropractic is the science of locating these areas of spinal malfunction and the art of correcting them to allow the body to heal itself.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a safe Oriental Modality which is used to treat both pain and dysfunction of the body. It consists mostly of fine needles inserted into specific acupoints on the skin. There is an energy network just below the surface of the skin that communicates from the exterior to the internal structures. Without harmonious flow and balance in this network, pain and dysfunction will occur.

The goal is to restore balance to the body's energy to eliminate dysfunction. These fine needles are not much thicker than a hair and nothing like an ordinary needle. A slight tingling sensation or similar feeling of a mosquito bite may be experienced, you may not even know the needles have been inserted. Many people find treatments to be very relaxing.
