Skills: Keeps Reservation owned water systems in compliance with USEPA Safe Drinking Water Regulations through the Monitoring of regulated parameters. Conducts annual surveys of community water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities. Coordinates environmental health activities with IHS, State, Tribal and BIA personnel.

Department of Revenue Director ~ RTC ~ Job Code: 14-013

Summary: Shall provide day-to-day direction, operation, management, control and supervision of the Tax, Risk and Insurance Program. The TRI Manager shall administer and enforce the tax revenue laws of the Band and ensure that the Band’s tax matters are addressed. Plans, directs and coordinates risk and any non-human resources insurance programs of organization to control risks and losses.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; Licensed Certified Public Accountant preferred.
Five years experience directing, implementing and/or enforcing tribal, municipal, state or federal taxation programs. Five years experience preferred supervisory management experience and conducting tax audits. Experience developing and implementing clear comprehensive financial reports and financial tax- related and insurance databases.
Skills: Must possess excellent customer service skills with the general public, including maintaining tact, diplomacy and flexibility when dealing with different personalities. Computer literacy including extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and database software such as Microsoft Access. Possess strong work ethic and organizational skills with special attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure that employees are carefully respecting the confidentiality policies and laws. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

5 Mental Health Professional ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code:  14-116
VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA REQUIRED
Summary: Responsible for providing direct mental health services, including psychotherapy, with an emphasis on individuals and families, using various treatment modalities and skills to produce social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. May provide clinical supervision and coordinate grant funded therapeutic activities.
Qualifications: Minimum of Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Health field is required. (Examples: Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.) Licensure as a Mental Health Professional preferred or license eligible for Tribal Licensure. Two years of clinical experience preferred with multiple issues and working with diverse populations. One year experience after MH Professional Licensure required before providing clinical supervision. Licensure as a Mental Health Professional in Minnesota or License eligible. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable.
Skills: Completes initial assessment and reviews client history, including medical and family background and related environment. Provides comprehensive DSM standard diagnostic assessment. Certified or eligible to become certified to provide DC 0-3 assessments for children ages four and under.

6 CTSS Mental Health Practitioner ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code:  14-115
VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA REQUIRED
Summary: Responsible for providing skills training to adolescents in a school setting to foster rehabilitation through teaching and practice of specific skills that are impaired by the child’s mental health issues. Skills training is targeted to specific deficits or maladaptations due to the mental health disorder and addressed in the Individual Treatment Plan. Examples of skills might be social, assertiveness, self-regulation, communication, and anger management.
Qualifications: BA/BS with 2000 hours of supervision is preferred. May also meet eligibility by meeting one of the requirements: no BA, but completed 6000 hours of supervised experience. Graduate student enrolled in Behavioral Sciences or related field. Master’s/Doctorate in Behavioral Sciences or related field. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable. 
Skills: Develop an Individual Treatment Plan based on the Diagnostic Assessment along with the MH Professional. Identify resources and advocate for client to receive services from other agencies when appropriate. Become familiar with the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Human Services programs and social service agencies in surrounding counties.
