Summary: Promote exercise adherence and motivation for clients of the Fitness Program.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree to include course work in exercise physiology, human anatomy, exercise, physical education or closely related courses or certification in or closely related to the fitness field from a recognized certification body or minimum of 5 years of fitness/health club experience preferred. Summary: Works directly with attorneys and the legal support team on cutting-edge issues, including a wide range of Federal Indian Law issues and cases. Typical projects include researching, assisting and working on Federal Indian Law legal issues, ICWA, Tribal Conservation, Tribal Housing and Tribal Traffic Court matters.
Qualifications:  Associate of Arts is required. At least five years of administrative work experience is required. Paralegal Studies and/or management experience is strongly preferred. Valid Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable.
Skills: Knowledge and familiarity with: Tribal Governments, Federal Indian Law, and the history of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. The ability to analyze legal information is required. Summary: Assist tribal leaders, tribal staff and federal government relations consultant with the organization, coordination and implementation of Band lobbying efforts targeted at state and federal governmental entities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Administration or Political Science is preferred. Five years work related experience is preferred. A combination of education with job experience in planning, policy analysis, intergovernmental relations, lobbying, legal or related field will be considered. Skills: Knowledge of Tribal, State and Federal government legislative processes and procedures including budget and appropriations processes is required. Summary: The Child Abuse Prevention Coordinator will initiate and support traditional cultural activities geared toward the prevention of child abuse and neglect on the Leech Lake reservation. The Child Abuse Prevention Coordinator will promote traditional Ojibwe family values within the Child Welfare Department and Leech Lake Reservation communities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in American Indian Studies or a Human Services related field. Degree may be waived if in process of obtaining degree. Experience in planning community activities. Extensive knowledge and practice of Ojibwe traditions, beliefs and values. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable.
Skills: Provide opportunities in the Leech Lake  Reservation communities for families to engage in child abuse prevention awareness activities and promote traditional Ojibwe values. Assist in the implementation of community forums to address issues of child abuse and neglect.

Summary: The Intake Worker is responsible for collecting essential information from reports or requests coming in for family services. The Intake Worker is responsible for determining if a child is currently safe or in imminent danger of immediate harm. This person works as part of a team to carry out the following responsibilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) or other Human Services related field is required. Degree requirement may be waived if in the process of obtaining degree. Two years experience working in a Human Services field is required. Two years experience in related areas of crisis intervention with families is preferred. Licensed Social Worker (LSW) preferred. Skills: Knowledge of the Minnesota Indian Family Preservation Act and the Indian Child Welfare Act or the ability to learn is required. Work jointly with county social services in assessing child protection reports. Be on call 24 hours a day, including nights, weekends and holidays to assist law enforcement with child abuse reports and 72 hour holds and attend program activities outside normal working hours as required.

Summary: Responsible for providing direct mental health services, including psychotherapy, with an emphasis on individuals and families, using various treatment modalities and skills to produce social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. May provide clinical supervision and coordinate grant funded therapeutic activities.
Qualifications: Minimum of Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Health field is required. (Examples: Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.) Licensure as a Mental Health Professional preferred or license eligible for Tribal Licensure. Two years of clinical experience preferred with multiple issues and working with diverse populations. One year experience after MH Professional Licensure required before providing clinical supervision. Licensure as a Mental Health Professional in Minnesota or License eligible. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable.
Skills: Completes initial assessment and reviews client history, including medical and family background and related environment. Provides comprehensive DSM standard diagnostic assessment. Certified or eligible to become certified to provide DC 0-3 assessments for children ages four and under. 

6 CTSS Mental Health Practitioner ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code:  14-115
             VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA REQUIRED
Summary: Responsible for providing skills training to adolescents in a school setting to foster rehabilitation through teaching and practice of specific skills that are impaired by the child’s mental health issues. Skills training is targeted to specific deficits or maladaptations due to the mental health disorder and addressed in the Individual Treatment Plan. Examples of skills might be social, assertiveness, self-regulation, communication, and anger management.
Qualifications: BA/BS with 2000 hours of supervision is preferred. May also meet eligibility by meeting one of the requirements: no BA, but completed 6000 hours of supervised experience. Graduate student enrolled in Behavioral Sciences or related field. Master’s/Doctorate in Behavioral Sciences or related field. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable. 
Skills: Develop an Individual Treatment Plan based on the Diagnostic Assessment along with the MH Professional. Identify resources and advocate for client to receive services from other agencies when appropriate. Become familiar with the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Human Services programs and social service agencies in surrounding counties.

Department of Revenue Director ~ RTC ~ Job Code: 14-013
VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA REQUIRED
Summary: Shall provide day-to-day direction, operation, management, control and supervision of the Tax, Risk and Insurance Program. The TRI Manager shall administer and enforce the tax revenue laws of the Band and ensure that the Band’s tax matters are addressed. Plans, directs and coordinates risk and any non-human resources insurance programs of organization to control risks and losses.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; Licensed Certified Public Accountant preferred.
Five years experience directing, implementing and/or enforcing tribal, municipal, state or federal taxation programs. Five years experience preferred supervisory management experience and conducting tax audits. Experience developing and implementing clear comprehensive financial reports and financial tax- related and insurance databases.
Skills: Must possess excellent customer service skills with the general public, including maintaining tact, diplomacy and flexibility when dealing with different personalities. Computer literacy including extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and database software such as Microsoft Access. Possess strong work ethic and organizational skills with special attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure that employees are carefully respecting the confidentiality policies and laws. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
