Summary: To provide research and assistance to support the projects, programs and goals of the Tribal Attorney’s and Paralegals. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Legal Director. 
Qualifications: Two years completed toward obtaining a Juris Doctorate from a Law School Accredited by the ABA (status as a “rising 3L”as recognized by the Law School). Requires a demonstrable interest in the field of Native American/Tribal Law or Federal Indian Law.
Skills: Prepare and process legal documents and papers, such as legal notices and motions. Assist attorneys in collecting information such as reviewing legal publications; perform database searches in finding laws and court decisions relevant to cases.

Summary: Responsible for direct mental health services, including psychotherapy, with an emphasis on individuals and families, using various treatment modalities and skills to produce social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Skills: Assists the Accounting Team Leader in recording and maintaining accurate general ledger balances and proper recording of revenue recognition. Must complete, within 3 months of hire, all advances life support variances that are part of the ambulance service protocol. Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, this individual will be working with women (prenatal and post partum) at the highest risk for having poor birth outcomes; providing home visits, acting as a referral source for clients, making physical assessments, screening for risk factors and setting goals for the client with follow-up made through the first year of the child’s life.
Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nursing or Public Health Nursing Certification is required.  Minimum of two years experience in a Public Health setting is required.
Skills: Excellent time management, organizational, conflict resolution, public relations and speaking skills are required. Skills: Patrol area on a periodic schedule to protect property against mechanical failure, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, etc; and report unusual activity to Security Supervisor or LLBO Tribal Police. Must arbitrate or de-escalate situations involving hostile, violent, belligerent persons and persons on mood altering chemicals, calling for assistance from proper authorities if necessary.

Summary: This position is responsible for professional work in a wide range of business and economic development tasks, as well as activities related to community development.

Summary: Provides skilled nursing care to Native American clients residing in their homes, located on the Leech Lake Reservation.
Qualifications: Associates Degree Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Current Health Care Provider CPR Certification is required. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable. Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
Skills: Performs the initial evaluation visit with patient, and reevaluates the patient’s nursing needs on a continuous basis. Serve as case manager/advocate while providing patient hands-on nursing care and referral resources. Summary: The Shelter Advocate serves as facilitator for individuals and families of the LLHS, performing all day-to-day intakes, assessment and operations such as helping people achieve self-sufficiency including setting goals and accessing resources and referrals for employment, childcare and housing opportunities.
Qualifications: Associates Degree from an accredited college in Human Services field preferred, or equivalent leadership experience directly related to supervisory tasks in group/residential settings. Domestic Abuse Re-Education (DAR) Program Coordinator ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code: 14-208
               VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA REQUIRED
Summary: Responsible for the overall management and administration of the Leech Lake Domestic Abuse Re-Education (DAR) Program, with the goal to address and reduce domestic violence and ensure the safety of domestic violence victims on the Leech Lake Reservation. Provides facilitation of Men’s DAR classes, supervision of DAR class facilitators, and service coordination with tribal, state, county and federal agencies involved in domestic violence programming.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Behavioral Health or related field (Psychology, Chemical Dependency, etc.) with 2000 hours of supervised experience. Masters Degree in the Behavioral Health field, preferred. Certified Domestic Batterer Intervention Program facilitator.
Skills: Demonstrated experience working with domestic abuse offenders. Familiarity with domestic violence programs and issues. Familiarity with the Coordinated Community Response model of domestic violence intervention.
