Summary: The Strategic Planning Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, promoting and ensuring community planning and development and negotiating and monitoring community empowerment and transfer initiatives in order to secure and monitor opportunities for community development. This person will also facilitate community events, prepare public information needs and work to motivate participation from the community in evaluating services and planning for program development as well as securing funding for development activities and programs.

Summary: To develop, plan, conduct and monitor the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Gaming establishments. Summary: The Child Protection Case Program Manager will assist in designing and implementing comprehensive services to support families during personal crisis with the ultimate goal of protecting the safety, well-being and permanency of children. This person will work as part of a team to facilitate communication flow between the Child Welfare Administration, the Family Services staff and Child Welfare stakeholders. Skills: Assist in determining whether cases are eligible within the American Indian Child Welfare Initiative (AICWI) guidelines. Domestic Abuse Re-Education (DAR) Program Coordinator ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code: 14-208
               VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA REQUIRED
Summary: Responsible for the overall management and administration of the Leech Lake Domestic Abuse Re-Education (DAR) Program, with the goal to address and reduce domestic violence and ensure the safety of domestic violence victims on the Leech Lake Reservation. Provides facilitation of Men’s DAR classes, supervision of DAR class facilitators, and service coordination with tribal, state, county and federal agencies involved in domestic violence programming.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Behavioral Health or related field (Psychology, Chemical Dependency, etc.) with 2000 hours of supervised experience. Masters Degree in the Behavioral Health field, preferred. Certified Domestic Batterer Intervention Program facilitator.
Skills: Demonstrated experience working with domestic abuse offenders. Familiarity with domestic violence programs and issues. Familiarity with the Coordinated Community Response model of domestic violence intervention.

3 Special Needs Teacher Assistants ~ Early Childhood ~ DOQ ~ Job Code:  15-006

Skills: Assist is supporting individual students or small groups of students with special needs, in Head Start/Early head Start classrooms. Plan appropriate activities based on each individual child’s needs. Must be physically able to work with children ages 0-5 years old.

Summary: Responsible for the implementation and development of a truancy program for the Leech Lake Child Welfare Department. The goal is to prevent and reduce truancy of Leech Lake children and youth attending area schools.

Two years experience in planning and offering services to American Indian children and families is preferred. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable.
Skills: Develop case plan with parents and student to assist in resolving truancy issues. Attend truancy related court hearings and make recommendations to court regarding truancy cases. Identify resources and advocate for family to receive services from agencies that may assist in resolving truancy.

Summary: The Director develops, implements and oversees the provision of quality services that are offered to clients. The duties and responsibilities serving as Team Leader at an overall executive level are incurred for common objectives. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Human Services, Masters in Public Health preferred or related field is preferred. Bachelors Degree in the social services field and/or community services field is required. Minimum of three to five years previous experience in administration, management, and supervision.
