Summary: Work with project coordinators from Gender Violence Institute (GVI), Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women (MCBW) and the Minnesota Indian Women’s Sexual Assault Coalition (MIWSAC) to coordinate LLFVPP’s participation in coordinating and enhancing law enforcement, criminal justice and advocacy response to batter women. Provide legal advocacy for battered women identified through the project activities. This position requires that all policies and procedures of the Division programs and the Leech Lake band of Ojibwe be followed and adhered to and is guided by and adhered to by the code of ethics set forth.

Summary: Responsible for providing skills training to adolescents in a school setting to foster rehabilitation through teaching and practice of specific skills that are impaired by the child’s mental health issues. Summary: This position is responsible for professional work in a wide range of business and economic development tasks, as well as activities related to community development.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in community planning, business or public administration, economic development, marketing or related field. A minimum of two years of professional experience in economic development, redevelopment or business assistance including experience in program implementation, marketing and public information efforts. Summary: The Shelter Advocate serves as facilitator for individuals and families of the LLHS, performing all day-to-day intakes, assessment and operations such as helping people achieve self-sufficiency including setting goals and accessing resources and referrals for employment, childcare and housing opportunities.

Summary: This position is responsible for the overall planning, coordination and effective management of the Tribal Assistance Program with the goal of providing quality services to the eligible client population according to program policies and guidelines.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services preferred. A minimum of five years experience in administering Human Services program required.
