Summary: The Nutrition Education Assistant (NEA) will provide direct delivery of nutrition education on the Leech Lake Reservation.  The NEA will be responsible for following USDA SNAP-Ed guidance, in accordance to the Leech Lake FY 2016-2019 work plan.

Duties/Responsibilities: Provide nutrition and direct education by using various methods to change participant’s attitudes and behaviors towards dietary towards dietary improvement, and to increase knowledge and practices around access to healthy foods. NEA will promote and work to improve the access to affordable foods and greater use of traditional foods through partnerships and collaboration with tribal programs that strengthen Native food systems and the health and well-being and SNAP-Eligible participants. Work with supervisor to train at least two (2) community organizations to deliver at least 2 SNAP-Ed approved curriculums, suitable to the organizations target audience.

Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with a complex scope of administrative duties, which includes training and office management responsibilities. This individual will provide support and assistance to the Child Support Program Manager in planning, directing, administering and coordinating the goals and objectives of the CSEP in accordance with applicable policies and procedures required by tribal, state and federal governments.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a field closely related to accounting or business and twelve (12) months of experience or Associates degree in a field closely related to accounting and business and thirty-six (36) months of experience or High School Diploma/GED and at least sixty (60) months of combined education and training that demonstrates the ability to perform duties and responsibilities of the position.

Summary: Expands and enhances the Air Quality Program. Summary: Provide advanced EMS training for the staff to maintain certification through on-going continuing education and assure that all staff maintains the training level of the Ambulance Service level of care as well as the training, mentoring and evaluation of new EMS staff. The Training Officer must also provide an on-going program of community education classes in CPR, First Aid, Emergency Medical Responder and Emergency Medical Technician levels.
