Summary: Emergency Manager will administer the Tribal Emergency Management Program for the Leech Lake Band in coordination with the Tribal Emergency Response Commission (TERC). Organize and direct those community services and activities pertinent to the emergency preparedness of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, assist in training local emergency management personnel, coordinate emergency management functions of the tribal government, assigned to emergency management responsibilities, coordinate response to actual disasters, emergencies, the logistics of the Reservation/County/State/Federal field teams and survey teams, mitigation requests, and disaster assistance centers.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Emergency Management or 5 years experience in Public Safety, EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement preferred. High School Diploma or General Education (G.E.D.) required. Knowledge of the Leech Lake Reservation and communities, infrastructure, Tribal Law and Treaties. Incident Command System trained/NIMS compliant or certification within 6 months. Valid MN Driver’s License, current insurance or be insurable.
Skills: Develops and maintains the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe comprehensive all hazards Emergency Operations Plan, including policy documents, and update all resource materials associated with emergency preparedness plan. Develop instructional materials for the public, and make presentations to citizens’ groups in order to provide information on emergency plans and their implementation process.

Summary: To adequately staff the ambulance service with certified Emergency Medical Technicians and to provide 24-hour medical services.

Summary: The Child Protection Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to children and families who are involved in or at risk to be in the Child Welfare system. Summary: Responsible for the overall management and administration of the Leech Lake Domestic Abuse Re-Education (DAR) Program, with the goal to address and reduce domestic violence and ensure the safety of domestic violence victims on the Leech Lake Reservation. Provides facilitation of Men’s DAR classes, supervision of DAR class facilitators, and service coordination with tribal, state, county and federal agencies involved in domestic violence programming.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Behavioral Health or related field (Psychology, Chemical Dependency, etc.) with 2000 hours of supervised experience. Masters Degree in the Behavioral Health field, preferred. Certified Domestic Batterer Intervention Program facilitator.
Skills: Demonstrated experience working with domestic abuse offenders. Familiarity with domestic violence programs and issues. Familiarity with the Coordinated Community Response model of domestic violence intervention.
