Summary: This position supervises resident compliance with program rules and regulations during counselor absence and provides approved transportation for residents. This position requires that all policies and procedures of the division programs and the Leech lake Band of Ojibwe be followed and adhered to.

Skills: Monitors, supervises and documents daily resident activities and behaviors. Provides approved transportation for residents appointments, outside AA meetings and/or cultural activities. Mental Health Professional - Twin Cities Office  ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code: 15-071

Summary: Responsible for providing direct mental health services, including psychotherapy, with an emphasis on individuals and families, using various treatment modalities and skills to produce social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. May provide clinical supervision and coordinate grant funded therapeutic activities.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Masters Degree in the Behavioral Health field is required. (Examples: Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional clinical Counselor.)  Licensure as a Mental Health Professional preferred or license eligible for tribal licensure. Summary: This position is responsible for professional work in a wide range of business and economic development tasks, as well as activities related to community development.

Skills: Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen and equipment. Assist Leech Lake Nutritionist, Health/Nutrition Manager and/or Lead Cook in menu planning. Participate in the Summer Food Services Program as needed. Must be able to kneel, bend, and stand for an extended period of time.

3 Part-Time Bena Homeless Shelter Advocates ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code:  15-028
    VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA RELEASE REQUIRED
Summary: The Shelter Advocate serves as facilitator for individuals and families of the LLHS, performing all day-to-day intakes, assessment and operations such as helping people achieve self-sufficiency including setting goals and accessing resources and referrals for employment, childcare and housing opportunities.
Qualifications: Associates Degree from an accredited college in Human Services field preferred, or equivalent leadership experience directly related to supervisory tasks in group/residential settings. Must have Food Safe Serve Certificate and current CPR and First Aid for adult, child, and infant within three months of employment. Domestic Abuse Re-Education (DAR) Program Coordinator ~ Human Services ~ DOQ ~ Job Code: 14-208
               VALID CLASS D DRIVER’S LICENSE, SIGNED MVR FORM AND BCA REQUIRED
Summary: Responsible for the overall management and administration of the Leech Lake Domestic Abuse Re-Education (DAR) Program, with the goal to address and reduce domestic violence and ensure the safety of domestic violence victims on the Leech Lake Reservation. Provides facilitation of Men’s DAR classes, supervision of DAR class facilitators, and service coordination with tribal, state, county and federal agencies involved in domestic violence programming.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Behavioral Health or related field (Psychology, Chemical Dependency, etc.) with 2000 hours of supervised experience. Masters Degree in the Behavioral Health field, preferred. Certified Domestic Batterer Intervention Program facilitator.
Skills: Demonstrated experience working with domestic abuse offenders. Familiarity with domestic violence programs and issues. Familiarity with the Coordinated Community Response model of domestic violence intervention.

Skills: Assist is supporting individual students or small groups of students with special needs, in Head Start/Early head Start classrooms. Plan appropriate activities based on each individual child’s needs. Must be physically able to work with children ages 0-5 years old.
