The online safety training courses are interactive, easy to use, allows users to learn at their own pace, and allows for training in a variety of diverse work settings. Starter and refresher training using the safety video shorts can be used to reinforce a culture of safety for LLBO employees. Supervisors can assign multiple video shorts to create a comprehensive safety training package for their new and existing employees. Please see the PDF document for a list of the training courses. LLBO Training & Staffing Development fosters individual and organizational effectiveness by developing and offering courses in support of LLBO’s commitment to employee professional development. Contact David Cronin if you have employees who need training but do not have workstations.

New Employee Orientation will be held every Monday and Wednesday in the HR conference room.

LLBO Civics Training
All employees that attend New Employee Orienta-tion are informed in ori-entation that they are required to attend the civics training and will receive the date and time they are scheduled to attend. The following are available every month online:

  • Workplace Harassment
  • LLBO Travel Policy
  • Supervisor I: Principles of Supervision. This course will cover a supervisor’s role and responsibilities, leadership styles, managerial skills, leading meaningful staff meetings, communication, giving feedback, delegating and setting expectations, difficult employees, and how to manage stress.
  • Supervisor II: Progressive Discipline
  • Supervisor III: Documentation
  • Supervisor IV: Safe and Inclusive Work Environments
Please review the monthly calendars for other online courses that will be offered. Supervisors who want specific online training developed for their employees should contact the Training Manager. Our goal is to provide all of our training online. Online courses allow for flexibility and gives us the ability to track the training/development progress of our workforce.
